Lost Baggage
We will endeavor to ensure that your baggage is handled with care. Should you experience any delay, damage or loss following a flight you must contact a member of Kang Pacific Airlines staff, or our representative at the airport of arrival immediately and complete a report with the details. You will be given a Report Reference Number and this should be quoted in all subsequent enquiries or correspondence.
We strongly advise you to take out travel insurance to ensure that your belongings are adequately covered for their value prior to any journey. Please also ensure that the suitcases or other container used for your belongings are of satisfactory construction and condition to withstand the handling processes whilst remaining secure.
In the event of loss or damage to baggage the airline’s responsibility is limited to USD 20 (or equivalent) per kilo for checked-in baggage, provided loss of baggage has been reported prior to leaving the customs area and if not traced within 14 days.
Refunds
Once a booking has been paid for no refund will be made. However if a passenger should decide to cancel a flight at least 72 hours prior to the scheduled departure time, Kang Pacific Airlines will retain the fare paid less a cancellation fee of USD 50 (or equivalent) per sector/per passenger as credit towards a future flight to be used by the passenger within six months from date of payment. Failure to adhere to 72 hours deadline when changes/cancellations are made will result in the fare paid being forfeited.
